Look Beyond

I've been really enjoying taking pictures of people lately especially little children.

This little girl lives next door. She is hyperactive as most children are so it is really trying to get her to stay still enough to grab a quick shot. I probably got this after countless failed attempts.

Her name is Eunice.
I used the 50mm f/1.4 for this. It has a few focusing issues but other than that it's an amazing lens!

Stay Away

I'll admit that shooting little people is fun. This is Yemima and she is really cute.

Unfortunately, she is scared of me for some reason (still trying to figure out why). So, taking a picture of her was tough. I did manage to get this one as she gave me this death stare - still cute though haha

A Hint

Here is one of my favourite portraits - not that I've take a whole lot but I still like it.

Children are really difficult to photograph. Getting them to stay still is the biggest problem which is probably why it's best to just let them do whatever they want and keep taking pictures as they're doing it.

Meet Stephanus. He is really cute and I couldn't resist taking a picture of him. Shooting him with a really wide aperture lens means you'll end up deleting a lot of shot but you'll also end up with a few keepers like this one.
